I wish this were for food photography, their monte cristo is delicious, rather this was for the contractor for architecture photography. We all know that our senses can trigger memories, well, a month ago I met a friend for lunch, after a photo project, at Cheddars in Fort Smith. I noticed the Monte Cristo and had to order it. As soon as I took a bite, I remembered having this over 23 years ago in Memphis (drooling a little just thinking about it). Every month we had a photographers meeting (Memphis Professional Photographers Guild) and several of us went out to eat before, I'm not 100% but that restaurant we went to for a long time was Cheddar's and, I always had the Monte Cristo. Ok enough about food, I'm getting hungry.
Fast forward, I had the opportunity to photograph the Cheddar's in Branson. It has a great location on the strip directly across from Presley's. When I have restaurants to photograph, it must be photographed before they open for business, the challenge is scheduling around training. Typically training is at least a week from early morning until night. The only time available for this shoot was Labor Day, no problem, if that's the only option, that's when we'll do it. Great day, weather and everything went smooth for Boen Kemp Construction and this architecture restaurant photography.
