Courtyard by Marriott - Conway Ark

The new Courtyard by Marriott in Conway Arkansas opened the first week of October.  It is the newest design and one of the first in the country to showcase the new contemporary interior elements.  When you look at the exterior, it has the same basic elements of the other newer Courtyards, but you walk inside, everything from the curved front desk to the bar that echos some of the same elements to the lighting fixtures.  A beautiful hotel. 

This is my fifth hotel to photograph for Mehta Hospitality, they open a new one in Arkansas every year.  This photoshoot was a pleasure with very helpful and polite staff that had everything in place.  Most do not know, there are many elements that go into creating hotel photos.  The Marriott brand has guidelines that must be followed for the photos to be accepted.  For example, there can be no cars in the photos, this would date the photo; for exterior twilight images, the lights must be on on many of the rooms with sheers pulled to to give life to the building.  That is only a sample, there are many other requirements for the other interior rooms as well.

If you're in Conway and need a place to stay, I highly recommend it, my stay was very comfortable and less than a mile off the interstate with shopping and restaurants within sight.
